“Dear Olly, First of all, many thanks to you and the band for such great music last Saturday – the playing was absolutely fantastic and was exactly what it we had hoped it would be.  Special thanks also to the chap playing the trumpet for entertaining all the children, whilst you were tuning up, with an impromptu game of “name that tune” – they really loved that, especially when he started to play the James Bond theme-tune!  Apparently, weddings are now better than birthdays because of you and the band!

During the evening we had many congratulations on “finding” such an excellent band, and quite few along the lines of “it’s not like listening to a wedding-band, it’s like being at a gig”, which is precisely what it did feel like for us.  Many years ago we had a fantastic night out in a jazz cellar in Paris called “Caveau de la Huchette”, and we had the same warm fuzzy feeling on Saturday as we did then.  We had an evening surrounded by friends and family dancing to our kind of music excellently played – fantastic.  You must have been doing something extra-special to get my two older brothers dancing like dervishes…

Organising a wedding is supposed to be a stressful affair, but it isn’t when you have the pleasure of dealing with professionals and from our very first contact that is how we found you to be. It’s a real relief to deal with people who keep in touch and do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it.

We would happily recommend you and your band to anyone who wants a highly organised, friendly, professional group of proper musicians who really can deliver, and we’d be more than happy for the above comments to be used on your website.

Dear Olly, please accept our apologies for not getting back to you sooner. The wedding, honeymoon, BA losing our luggage, Christmas, New Year etc. rather got in the way of our writing thank you letters!
Everybody thought that you did absolutely amazing work at our wedding in December. When you are living and working in New York, as we were when we booked you for the event, you are never too sure whether you’ve made the right decision or not, but you and the band performed wonderfully and naturally so that everybody could join in from 7 to 87!
Not only was the music well chosen, you made sure that we felt like a million dollars all the way through and you couldn’t have been more accommodating had you tried.
