We played a great gig at The Gatsby in Berkhamsted in early June, featuring special guest Jane Crowther on vocals who joined us for several numbers including Summertime, Fever and Black Coffee.
Folks enjoyed Simon Currie’s smooth sound on saxophones and flute (not forgetting the banana shaker!), and the dynamic Michael Curtis Ruiz was on upright bass providing the perfect rhythmic foundation for an afternoon of foot-tapping jazz and Latin.
Big thanks to everyone who came to listen, and to the Gatsby staff who did a great job – we look forward to playing there again soon!
